Pacific Crest Music is a highly intensive chamber music program taking place in Dunsmuir this August 2 through August 10. Nine amazing young musicians are coming from all over California and as far away as South America.
During the ten day program the young artists are studying, rehearsing and performing alongside their professional counterparts. The program concludes with thee public performances. On Thursday, August 7 at 7:00 PM an informal performance at the Dunsmuir Brewery and Friday, August 8 at 6:00 PM, the faculty will be showcased at POPS, 5819 Sacramento Avenue with a fundraising event for the students.
The final performance of the 2014 Festival will be held at the Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens on Sunday, August 10 at 6:00 PM. Some seating will be provided but there will be plenty of space for blankets and picnics. Admission is free for this event. Donations for the program's student scholarships will be graciously accepted by Pacific Crest Music.
