Teddy Rides Again

The ‘President Roosevelt’ rhododendrons are blooming now and what spectacular blooms! The rounded trusses of bright rose flowers fade to white in the center and are framed by green leaves accented by irregularly shaped yellow centers. The Gardens contain a number of this variety of rhody and, when the sun is shining on them through the forest canopy, they shine like headlights. By the way, they’re named after President Teddy Roosevelt.
